The Everest Mission- The goals and foresight which Max and Ari envisioned and truly believed in from the inception, was to be able to better the living conditions of our tenants on the properties we acquire and to be able to add amenities that they can use on a daily basis. Such as: a gym to work out in, a business center to do their work or homework, a clubhouse to host family events, a playground to let their kids enjoy and the list goes on and on.

Our tenants, who pay our bills and give us our jobs, have the right to come home after a long day of work or wake up to begin their day and feel safe and proud of where they live. They should be happy to call one of Everest’s properties their home. We want our tenants who are the most crucial part of our properties to be able to have friends and relatives come by and visit, spend time with their family members and again, be proud of where they live. Everest’s properties are where we want our residents to proudly say, “This is where I grew up as a child,” or “This is the best place to raise our children.” This is our mission. This is what an Everest Property is about.

Ari Rothman

President

Ari Rothman is a highly experienced and successful real estate professional, currently serving as the President and Principal of Everest Equities Group. He has been active in the real estate industry since 1999, when he purchased his first property at the age of 17 and made a significant profit from flipping it.

With a passion for real estate and a strong financial knowledge gained from working at Meridian Capital Group, Ari has since gained hands-on experience in managing various types of properties. He has focused on a particular niche market and has developed a keen understanding of the industry, which has set him apart from his peers.

In 2017, Ari founded Everest Equities Group with the foresight to grow his portfolio through syndication. He has a proven track record of successfully managing day-to-day property operations, reducing costs, improving properties, and negotiating deals. He has acquired and managed more than 5,000 units across various portfolios, primarily in the Southeast and Southwest regions of the United States.

Under Ari's leadership, Everest Equities Group has experienced significant growth and has acquired portfolios worth over $500 million. This success is a testament to Ari's expertise, dedication, and passion for the real estate industry.

Outside of his professional career, Ari is also passionate about giving back to the community and is an active member of several charitable institutions.

Max Gordon

Director

With over two decades of experience in the real estate management field, Max has gained a reputation in managing residential properties Over the years,he has developed skills in areas such as budgeting, financial analysis, and market research, providing a comprehensive understanding of the industry and the ability to provide exceptional service.

In his role as a property management professional, Max has overseen all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and capital improvements. Max has also been responsible for developing and executing comprehensive asset management strategies that maximize property value, minimize risk, and optimize financial performance. To achieve these objectives, he has drawn upon a range of tools and techniques, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment, to ensure that the properties remain competitive and well-positioned in the marketplace.

In addition to property management, Max has extensive experience in property ownership, having acquired and managed numerous properties throughout my career. In this capacity, he has been responsible for all aspects of property acquisition, including due diligence, financing, and asset management. Max has played a key role in property disposition, working to ensure that the properties are sold or transferred in a manner that maximizes return on investment and minimizes risk.

Throughout Max's career, he has encountered and overcame a wide range of challenges, from navigating complex regulatory requirements to adapting to changes in the market and economic landscape. He prides himself on being a forward-thinking and innovative leader, always staying one step ahead of the curve and anticipating the needs of my clients and colleagues.

But his passion for real estate management goes well beyond the boardroom. He is a firm believer in the power of giving back to the community, and has dedicated himself to volunteering and contributing to various charitable organizations over the years by looking for ways to use his skills and resources to make a positive impact in the world around him.

Nissan Zucker

Chief Financial Officer

Nissan Zucker is the Chief Financial Officer at Everest Equities Group, where he oversees the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, and deal structuring across a nationwide real-estate portfolio.

With a background as a consultant handling large-scale commercial transactions, Nissan brings deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, underwriting, and complex capital market structuring. His analytical insight and rigorous discipline have been central to streamlining Everest’s financial operations, optimizing capital deployment, and driving sustainable growth.

Throughout his tenure, he has successfully facilitated major acquisitions and refinancing deals, implemented robust financial controls and reporting processes, and guided strategic investment decisions that align with long-term company objectives. Nissan’s leadership ensures both stability and agility in the firm’s financial management — qualities essential in today’s dynamic real-estate market.

Known for his integrity, attention to detail, and ability to navigate intricate financial deals with clarity, Nissan also collaborates closely with cross-functional teams — equipping operations, asset management, and investor relations with the financial insight needed to execute efficiently.

Dafina Gjeloshi

Office Assistant

Dafina Gjeloshi is an administrative assistant at Everest Equities Group, a residential real estate company. She graduated from Pace University in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Dafina’s passion for business began at a young age and has only grown with her education and experience. She has great organizational and communication skills, which she puts to use every day to ensure that the office runs smoothly. Dafina is a Brooklyn, NY native and is excited to bring her enthusiasm and knowledge to the team. She is dedicated to her work and strives to provide excellent customer service. She is eager to learn more about the real estate industry and is excited to start her career here at Everest Equities

Izzy Kaplan

Asset Manager

Izzy Kaplan is a dedicated and passionate member of the team at Everest Equities Group. With over a decade of experience in the real estate management industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Born and raised in the New York Tri-State area, he now calls the Hudson Valley home.

As a regional asset manager for Everest Equities Group, Izzy manages properties across Mississippi, Texas, and Tennessee. He began as a building manager in the Bronx section of NYC, and has since been promoted to his current position due to his hard work, dedication, and critical solution-based thinking.

Izzy is known for his friendly and upbeat personality, which makes him a pleasure to work with both internally and externally. He is always eager to help and support his colleagues, and is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to clients.

In addition to his professional duties, Izzy also volunteers as a paramedic in his local community. He is passionate about helping others and is committed to using his skills and compassion to make a difference in the lives of those in need. His combination of professional expertise and personal dedication make him a valuable asset to our team at Everest Equities Group.

Amber Kee

Tennessee Property Manager

Amber Kee is a seasoned Property Manager with a wealth of experience in the field, having worked at Everest Equities for the past 4 years and in Property Management for over two decades. She is a driven and organized professional, consistently striving for excellence in every task she undertakes.

Having grown up in West Tennessee, Amber is deeply committed to providing safe and affordable housing to those in need in the region. Her extensive management experience includes overseeing HUD, LIHTC, and conventional properties, where she excels in resident retention, preventative maintenance, and budget control.

Amber is a hands-on manager who values teamwork and is always willing to lend her expertise to colleagues. Her dedication to her work and her team has earned her a reputation as a loyal and dependable leader in the industry.

Donna Tosses

Asset Manager/Compliance Specialist

Donna Tosses is Mississippi based and has been with Everest Equities Group since February 2024. She began in this business over 20 years ago as a Property Manager working her way up to an Asset Manager. She oversees LIHTC properties mostly, and her portfolio consists of the southern half of Mississippi. With the vast knowledge of LIHTC experience it led her to also become the Compliance Specialist for Everest Equities in early 2025. Her portfolio for compliance consists of eight states. Along with her duties as Asset Manager she also makes sure all properties are in compliance with the LIHTC procedures and policies.

Donna resides in Greenville, Mississippi where she was born and raised. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with husband of 25 years and their dog Oliver. She also loves help foster puppies with Mutt Madness in MS the Delta.

Eric Nussbaum

Asset Manager

Eric Nussbaum is a Regional Asset Manager at Everest Equities, where he has been making a strong impact since joining the team in 2024. Known for his passion, motivation, and collaborative spirit, Eric brings a results-driven approach to every project. He thrives in team environments, consistently contributing to shared goals with energy and a solutions-focused mindset. Now living in Rockland County with his family, Eric remains committed to delivering value through dedication, integrity, and a genuine enthusiasm for the real estate industry.

Shona Simpson

Asset Manager

Shona Simpson is a seasoned property manager with extensive experience in the field, having spent the past year and a half with Everest Equities. She has recently accepted a new role within the company as Regional Asset Manager, a position earned through her consistent commitment to excellence and proven track record of high-quality performance. Her management experience spans HUD, LIHTC, and conventional properties, where she excels in budgeting, customer service, and ensuring each community operates smoothly and efficiently. Shona is highly engaged with her team and is always willing to go the extra mile for the company. Loyal, dependable, and hardworking, she never shies away from a challenge and remains dedicated to meeting and exceeding every goal set before her.

Kayla Maiolo

Accounts Payable

Kayla Maiolo is the Accounts Payable Specialist at Everest Equities. She graduated from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in December of 2021 and is proud to have joined the Everest Equities team. Kayla was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and brings her enthusiasm for customer service and problem-solving to her role. As Accounts Payable Specialist, she is responsible for making sure all of our vendors receive their payments in a timely manner. With her experience and dedication to her work, Kayla is committed to helping Everest Equities continue to thrive in the real estate business.

Stephanie Samir

Accounting

Stephanie Samir is a graduate of Kings Borough Community College with a degree in Liberal Arts. She has been working at Everest Equities since her college days, assisting the accounting department in their day to day operations. Stephanie is a highly motivated and organized individual who strives to make sure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Her attention to detail and dedication to her work have enabled her to make a positive contribution to the team. She is also an excellent communicator and is always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges. Stephanie is an invaluable asset to Everest Equities and is committed to helping the company grow and succeed.

Nathan Mehl

Asset Manager

A graduate summa cum laude of Touro College bachelor's of science, Nathan is an highly accomplished Asset Manager managing all types of properties from A to Value Add, garden style high-rise multi-family with companies such as The Lightstone Group and was a real estate broker at Paddington Stone Realty. He has managed properties in over 25 states and markets. He has raised funding for over 10 investment properties upwards of 50 Million dollars throughout the US and has over 25 years of experience in property management and acquisitions. He currently resides with his wife & children in Rockland County, NY and was raised in Queens, NY.

Victoria King

Mississippi Property Manager

Victoria King has been a Property Manager at Everest Equities for nearly eight years, and has over twenty years of Human Resource Management experience. She has a proven track record of success in retaining employees and residents, recruiting, hiring, payroll, workers compensation, and FMLA. Victoria has great communication skills, is highly organized, and takes a personal interest in her job. She is self-motivated, eager to learn, and loves taking on new challenges. In addition, she enjoys spending time with her family. Victoria is an integral part of the Everest Equities Team, and is dedicated to providing the best possible service.

Pamela Golden

Georgia Property Manager

Pamela Golden is a Georgia-based property manager with 13 years of experience and has been with Everest since 2018. She graduated from Liberty University with a degree in business management and from FAMU with a degree in Psychology. She has a wealth of experience in the property management industry and is passionate about providing the best service possible for her clients.

Khushi Sharma

Corporate Administrator

Khushi Sharma is a Corporate Administrator at Everest Equities, bringing dedication, attention to detail, and a strong interest in finance and business operations. Originally from India, she began her career in the U.S. after completing a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Technology.

With an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for learning, Khushi is excited to contribute to the real estate industry and take on new challenges at Everest Equities. She is committed to continuous improvement, supporting the company’s long-term success, and looks forward to growing in her career.

Shaunelle Wilson

LIHTC

My name is Shaunelle Wilson I was born and raised in Greenville,Mississippi .After being a Retail Manager for 11 years I decided to broaden my expertise and explore a different opportunity.

I became a Leasing Agent in 2021 at a beautiful property .I then had the opportunity to join Everest Equities Group in January of 2025 as a Compliance Officer overseeing 8 states. I enjoy helping each property achieve their goals in helping families to have affordable housing.

I am always eager and willing to learn and love taking on new challenges and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the EEG family.

In addition, in my spare time I just love spending time with my family and just enjoying life.

Tully Horowitz

Asset Manager

Tully is a Regional Asset Manager at Everest Equities, overseeing a portfolio of properties across Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. With a strong background in acquisitions and a proven track record of executing successful investment strategies, he specialize in value-add initiatives that drive net operating income and long-term portfolio performance.

Known for expertise in budgeting, contract negotiation, and operational oversight, Tully combines strategic thinking with hands-on management to maximize asset value. Colleagues know him as upbeat, optimistic, and always willing to go the extra mile—consistently stepping in to support the team, solve challenges, and deliver results that exceed expectations.

Al Fayaz J

Corporate Compliance Officer

Al Fayaz J is a dedicated Back Office and Administrative Professional with over 10 years of experience in operations, client coordination, and business support services. He is recognized for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable approach to managing daily responsibilities. A father of two children, Al Fayaz values responsibility, balance, and long-term growth, consistently bringing professionalism, commitment, and reliability to his work.
